“I’m just scared!”
This is common with patients who had a bad experience with a dentist in the past. Unfortunately, not all dental practices are created equal and some people leave the dentist in a lot of pain and are afraid to return. This is what we call dental anxiety. It is very real and debilitating from the standpoint that a patient would rather let a tooth get to the point they “can no longer stand it” before calling me for help. Sound familiar?

What We Do Differently
At your very first appointment, we want to know what your past dental experiences were like. We really listen and we adapt our treatment plan with your history in mind. Everyone on our team is trained to be as gentle and kind as possible. Our goal is to undo your fears, or at the very least alleviate them while you’re here to ensure you get the care you deserve.
Numbing Cream
We even have a compounder at a local pharmacy that makes us a special mixture of numbing cream that our assistants apply before the dentist even comes in the room. The patients usually say, ” I’m already going numb!” We’ve been doing this a long time and we always make sure a patient is comfortable and ready for a treatment before we continue.
